final fantasy 7 disc swap on PSP?

i'm near completing the first disc of final fantasy 7 on my PSP, and im a bit concerned about what might happen... i've seen people complaining about the ability to load the disc 1 save data after switching to disc 2, but i have no idea. my final fantasy 7 eboots have the default names that were assigned during the converting of the ISO, if that helps. i have a 3.10 OE-A fw, and it's been running 1-disc PSX eboots just fine. i never tried a disc swap with my PSP, and i hope nothing screws up... is there anything i can do to make sure nothing goes wrong? thanks in advance.

you save the game, then make sure the SSID number is the same, i had the same problem, and it worked for me, im still on disc 3 (long deleted FFVII though)

I have the complete ISO with all discs merged into 1. Thats the way forward

so SSID as in SCUSXXXXX? i think i can change that. i just have to keep it the sames?

Bingo, and you will be all good.

If you still have problems, then try copying your save to your computer, and finish disk 1 there. Then save on disk 2 and move that to your psp. (You'll have to do this for games that don't let you save during disk swap.

thanks a bunch everyone for the help so far! i think i almost got this down. SO... when i reformat teh disc 2 ISO to the EBOOT file, i change the game AND the save ID to match the first disc's ID? or is it just the save ID i need to keep the same? sorry if i'm likes a n00bz at this, but i just wanna make sures. as always, thanks for all the helps guys.

P.S: is "The Legend of Dragoon" a game that'll let you save in between discs? or do i have to get on the PC emulator and do what demondude777 said?
