(besides not adding emulators :P) but if i have 1.50 (or w.e your supposed to have) it will have a chance to brick or will it not brick?

An emulator wont cause a brick. Its completely safe.

alright so if i simply find say, a GBA Emulator, i do all the steps of unzipping and all that, than put the files into "Removeable Disk" and just put the GBA games in the "Removeable Disk" and the games will work perfectly and there will be no chance of a brick???

nope... your screwed unless you upgrade to 3.03 and downgrade to 1.5...
dont be a pussy its not that hard to downgrade... if your too scared then dont bother coming here, because real men downgrade... ive downgraded and upgraded mine at least 6-8 times in an hour at times, its not like anything will happen unless you dont follow directions

noob here with a question...
well if you dont use custom firmware, then theres no point in having that 4 gig card unless your stuffing it with music and videos... Hence if you downgrade then upgrade, you can play back ups of your game straight from the disc (no carrying UMDs around) and play the hundreds of games on snes and nes and such... but if you want to upgrade, be our guest, just dont come crying to us when your asking for a downgrader... i dont think ANYONES bricked there PSP here downgrading... i have seen one case of someone bricking it while upgrading... because they took the battery out since the upgrade failed... and im talking about upgrading to SONY's firmware... so Your honestly not going to screw anything up downgrading unless you take the battery out and are careless
so the biggest waste of money really was that 4 gig card... since its not really needed unless your going to be using isos and roms and homebrew... which is only available to you with 1.5 or custom firmware |
