Default PSX-P question

Hello everyone!
FW: 3.0.3 OE-C

I just wanted to know if PSX-P currently, is the most used or best PS1 emulator out there for the PSP.

Also does anyone know if Resident Evil 2 or 3 runs smoothly on this emu?

Thank you. Much appreciated.

psx-p is super slow and barely works. you have 3.03 oe-c and your trying to use a homebrew psx emu instead of the one built into the firmware?

You have a custom firmware that will allow you to convert playstation games into eboots. When you have these eboots, all you gotta do is copy them to your 'game' folder and it will boot up. No emulator needed.

As for the resident evil question: I haven't tried either of them, but I have heard that everyone's RE2 crashes/freezes when you enter the police station. I haven't heard anything bad about RE3...yet

Edit: Julie beat me to it

So as far as having a built in PSX emu in OE-C will games run smoothly?

And the EBOOT thing, should i use the pinned topic: "How to convert PSX inot EBOOT"?for everything?

Thank You!
