Default So..there isn't a way to get an N64 game running smoothly?

I've downloaded the Daedalus R10 (for fw 1.50+)--N64 Emulator and SM64, Paper Mario, and Smash Bros. don't work well enough or fast enough to play. Is there any way to get to them to play better?

BTW, I own all the games I downloaded for N64, just letting you guys know.

thats cool, you dont have to say you downloaded them though, just say you got them

but the n64 emulator is still being worked on, so it might be a while before it works

best way to get them to run fast to play them on the n64 itself and not waste your time on the pos n64 emulator

Ive been playing N64 on my computer perfectly! just like a N64 ! Project64 is the best without a doubt.

I second that, dont waste your time with the Emulator, this guy that created it is a JOKE..

* Uh.. uh... This time theres 5% of speed increase *

A 2 months later

* uh.. Daedalus R40.. uh... theres a ... 1.5 % speed increase...*

And so on..

Sure im thankful he even releases them. BUT...... dont make people waste their time with BS.. its not fun... as simple as that.

I think the better route for n64 emulation may be game specific emulators. Tailoring the needs of a specific game into a single emulator. Similar to bleemcast! that emulates PSX for dreamcast. A tailor made emulator for one game. That way at least some major n64 games could be played on the go. Seems to be the problem is the different demands each game requires, so why not make a zelda Ocarnia of Time emulator, golden eye emulator, so forth and so on. an emulator made for a specific game could suit that game better.

well if a specific emulator was made for a specific rom that would allow the emulator to devote all of the memory to making that rom fastes. the emulator could also work on fixing all the bugs for that certain game.

I think Mario 64 and StarFox plays fine on Daedalus. The speed is not the same as you would with the real N64 console but itsn't that true for any kind of emulator? I do I think it's playable though. I actually play Mario 64 on my PSP as often as I would play the regular PSP games. Be happy that there is a N64 emulator for PSP and you could actually play the games at a decent speed in the palm of your hand any where you want.
