why dose my PSP crash

Each and every time I attempt to load a patched ROM(IPS BTW) my PSP crashes as soon as the rom loads, is there something I`ve done wrong, maybe patched wrong? I dont know can someone please help me./

SNes, I`m trying to run super metroid Redesign, but it keeps blue screening on me

maybe its the game, some games are not compatible...

but ive NEVER heard of super metroid redesign for SNES...

Theres alot of videos on YOUTUBE, it works when I attempt to run the patch/game on my ZSNES emulator, but not on my PSP, this also happens to 2 of my other patched games, Super Hard Metroid, and Metroid Return to zeebes.
