PSX trouble on 3.40 oe-a

Im having trouble trying to get psx games to work on my psp. I followed the guide on the forum and popstation did what it was suppose to do, but it doesnt run on my psp. When i try to run it on my psp the emulator start, but then stays at a black screen.

I tried Oddworld and Metal Gear Solid, neither worked. Can anybody help me out?

I still get the same thing. I did everything that was in that guide, except for using Alcohol 120%. I used SONIC to make the PSX ISO. I let Popstation GUI do its thing but still end up with the same results. When i run it on my psp it'll display the orange SCE logo and then go to a black screen. I can go into a menu while im in the black screen, but no game.

At first it looks likes its gonna work becasue the LED flashes a lot while its loading something, but then stops and the screen stays blank.

do u have a coldboot if you do you need to use lolstation or use regualer sony coldboot

thats weird popstatin gui should convert it automatically.

I even let popstation gui put it in my psp. It shows up as hot shots golf 2 in the psp, so somethings working, but nothing past the orange sony logo.

The only thing custom on my psp is the firmware, 3.40 OE-A, and the snes and genesis emulators. I even reformated the MS to check if that was somehow the problem, but no luck.

I am getting the same thing only i dont get as far as the sony orange splash screen thing. I get the icon in my game menu click it then i get the warning then i get a blinking mem card light like normal but then the game NEVER shows up just blank. I can hit home and get the menu and everything but never get the game to show up.

well mine goes to the SCE logo then it goes to the screen talking about online instruction manuals (i think thats what it said) then the psp just shuts off on me makes me so sad cuz i wanted to play all my final fantasy games on it while im at work
