Default Laggy GBA

Whenever I try to play a GBA game, it is very laggy. I was wondering if there's anyway to make it run more smoothly. I'm using PSPVBA. Thanks in advance.

not always the best solution, but enable frameskip to whatever is comfortable. it's a cheap trick to make it look like the game's running smoothly :P

Yup, there is.
Use gpSP 0.9. 1000% better.

Alright, thanks for your help. I'm playing hacked versions of pokemon that let you catch all of them without trading. I'll tell you if it runs any smoother.

Edit:alright, it works perfectly now Thanks everybody.

I'm in the same boat as you are with finding a BIOS image. I'd like to know as well.
