using s9xtyl0.4.2.
all my roms run in slow motion. whaddafuxup with that. this is the first time i've tried emulation. 1.5 kernel currently set.

It could be:
Your roms - It can only emulate some roms. And, it can only perfectly emulate a couple roms...
The Emu version - I don't know the most recent version, but if it's not the most recent, it could be that too.

probably roms than. i got the emu from a newer link in the emu sticky. can someone link me the most recent and or best snes emu please?

its so weird, snes9x when it first came out and I used it, it ran my games just fine, now a year later when i got my psp back i downloaded the latest one and they dont run very well..so I dunno, i remember once i had it set to skip like a million frames by accident (or maybe it was a diff emu) and i was like wtf? haha

there are certain games that will run slow, otherwise, theres preferances, render a different graphics engine, or something of that sort, and play around with the framerate, i got mine to work, it will not be PERFECT though, just remember that, but close to it | |

yea i messed around with them. the weird thing is i was having a problem with donkey kong country. i played the first level in slo mo and than it corrected itself. i don't know. i have good romsets on my xbox so i am going to grab those and try it.
<edit> no worky. for some reason i can't extract the iso file made by qwix. i guess i'll just have to re-compile the roms the old fashioned way......

donkey kong country is one of the roms known to run slowly
if memory serves it only runs slowly on nighttime levels that are outside

Donkey Kong Country is a huge file by rom terms, most are half the size. It's not going to run it perfectly with the amount of info in the rom, but it runs pretty decently for me.
It appears that we are running pretty much identical setups. I don't have issues with it so it must be in your settings.
