And i have a linksys wusb54gv4 wireless dongle that worked when i plugged it in but was slow as anything so i blacklisted the rt2500usb driver it was using and installed ndiswrapper and used the winxp drivers i had. It worked until i rebooted at which point it wont even recognize i have a wireless dongle attached. The wireless is 2nd priority since i might just move my desk closer to the router so i can run cat5 to my pci network card. The sound is what pisses me off. I'll give you the whole history. First i installed Gusty and set up amarok right away. No sound. Pissed me off so i re-installed thinking i screwed something up. Then i installed it again while playing some songs through rhythmbox and then amarok worked until i rebooted a few times. Then i got no sound at all from my computer. I did notice however that in the Volume Properties window in the change device menu it moved my SB Live card to the
1: slot when it used to be in the
0: slot. Now my crappy integrated sound card is in the
0: slot.
Thanks for reading my novel, lol.
