Question Popsloader problem..3.90M33-2

Hey guys, I think I already know the answer to this, but I'd just like a confirmation:

I'm trying to load up a PSX eboot and I have it all in the right folders and it even comes up in the XMB, I click on it and it loads up the Popsloader Bios. I have a bunch of options to choose from and anytime I pick one, the screen goes black and then the system turns off.

I turn on the PSP again and go to try to load it again, but this time it doesn't even take me to the bios, but rather straight to "game couldn't be read" or something along those lines.

I'm going to assume the issue is because I am running on crw 3.90M33-2 because I have heard it's not very emulation friendly.. Any input from anyone would be great, thanks.

well to get he menu to appear again yo u have to delete the config.bin file inside poploader folder. also you cant just pick any version for it to run the psx game, as firstly you have to extract the required prx's from each firmware that is displayed in the menu. By selecting anyone it will not work as it just loads no emulation at all.

To get the list of options (meaning versions to load from) you have to hold the R button as soon as you select the program to run. Than what I did was run it from initial flash or whatever option it says at the very bottom of the list. See if that helps.

For one you can't just click on any of those and think that they'll work. You have to have that certain firmwire files in the seplugin folder, there's a guide somewhere on google and it tells you how to extract the files from the offical release of the firmwire and get the files you need for the seplugin folder for the popsloader.

Very simple to fix. Just hold on R button when u start the PSX game and the list will show up again. Simply select another firmware version you want the game to run on.
