im havin the same problem too. except im runnin 3.80 M33-5 CFW. if i find anything ill let you know.
i got it to work. you need to get the 1.5 kernel add-on for 3.9 m33. yo can get it from dark alex. you'll need the 1.5 update (google it). unzip the 1.5 kernel add-on to MS: PSP/GAME/Update and then rename the 1.5 update to 1.5.pbp and move it to the MS root. run the 1.5 kernel add-on and install. once your done set the game folder hombrew to 1.50 kernel in the recovery menu. you should be set. it worked for me. hope this helps.
