Default Sorry guys...yet another FFVII question

So I load up 3.90M33-2 (awesomeness) and loaded up symphony of the night and THPS and it was flawless. I turned my iso of FFVII into an eboot (I own these games if you are worried about piracy talk, not pirating anything) and load it up and everything goes great. The opening cinema plays, the train rolls up, and as soon as I get into the first battle the screen just gets all distorted and it freezes.

I know the image isnt bad, it works fine on ePSXe on the computer.

Does using popsloader fix this? Is that even what it does?

Thanks guys, I need something to play while Im at work. This isnt a very good final fantasy game, it is honestly a mess but it still brings back a lot of good memories of my younger days

Default Sorry guys...yet another FFVII question

2.90m33-2 sucks at running psx games. I tried to run FF7 on it but it wouldnt even get to the intro movies for me. I downgraded to 3.71m33-4 and its been flawless.

Use POPS. Here >>pops
put the "seplugins" folder in the root of your memory stick, reboot your psp and go into recovery mode by holding R, go to plugins and enable popsloader. Then when you go to boot up final fantasy VII hold R and a menu will come up asking you what mode you'de like to play the game in. choose 3.71 or 3.72 and it will run perfect.

Default Sorry guys...yet another FFVII question

One problem I'm encountering is the screen goes all crazy during a fight scene followed by the game locking up... could that have something to do with needing a popsloader as well?
