Hi, I have CFW 3.71M33-3 and I used multi-disc converter that you have in your sig. When I converted it and put it on my PSP the eboot was 1.5 gigs and it loaded a screen saying an advisory, after that it went blank and I let it load for over 20 mins and it was still blank with the orange light glowing. What did I do wrong?

i am guessing you mean you have cahnged it to either ISO or CSO format. This wont work. You need you make the files into an EBOOT to run PSX games. There are a lot of programs that can do this, I think i used POPSTATION to do mine (I only had a old copy of FF VII to make so I did it and deleted the program, thats why im not sure). Hope this helps and i didn't mis-read you.

Artguybri, seeing as I don't have the patience to be on these forums anymore, may I leave this thread to your care? :P

Hey, uhm, this may be a strange comment, but...

I didn't use popsloader or anything. Just threw the eboots into the game folder like any other game... and FF7 has been working flawlessly. I haven't been playing long, just got through the first reactor scene. Battles are fine, albeit a few minor audio issues (which I've had EVERY time I've emulated FF7 on any system..)

Should I expect the game to have issues in the future?? I'm just confused, a game with its own "fix" thread working perfectly seems too good to be true.

Thanks.

Seeing as you have the most up-to-date CFW, it's possible that they've updated PSX game compatibilities. That said, they may have fixed some bugs for FF:VII.

However, as it may work right now, I can't guarantee it will stay that way. I don't think anyone will can actually guarantee anything, since the game hasn't been tested on newest CFW like your's.

So just play on and hope that all goes well. If worse comes to worse, you can always just install PopsLoader.
