pokemon fire red on psp, need help
hey i moded my psp recently, and i already have a gba emu running on it, with pokemon fire red, now my quetion is i was wondering if there was any way to modify the actual game, like by getting different types of pokemon, or putting cheats on it, or making it easier to level pokemon up? |

all that you need to do to add cheats is to make a cheat folder in your emulator folder. then look up cheats for either action replay or for gameshark and put the code in there. after your done adding codes then you have to save the document EXACTLY the same name as the rom, except the .gba needs to be .cht
this is just like a very brief explanation, but look at the readme in your download and your will find the proper instructions how to add it |

yeah they dont work very well but i got them to work on my gba emu on my psp, i had a quick level up but after i used it the game was laggy and kinda glitchy, even after i turned it off |

Don't use cheats on your GBA emu, my PSP blew up and I almost died.

Its a waste of time. I had to figure it out all on my own and when I did, the cheats didn't even work. What a bummer.

i forgot that u had to format the file using ur computer... not ur psp or else it would stay a txt file... also just raise ur psp umd/iso and xmb speed to 300 and it dosent lag... i was playing all day wiht it like that no problem
