Remote play doesn't actually allow you to run the games from the PS3 to the PSP. You just use the PSP as a TV with controls for the PS3, so just because you'll be allowed to "play" PS2 games on the PSP doesn't mean it's actually able to handle them.

Yeah the PS3 is doing the processing to play and display the game, then it just displays a video for the PSP.

so if the ps1 and the dreamcast has the same hardware (same controls as psp) why cant we have emulator for that too? if i could code i would write it

I don't think anyone wants to make a Dreamcast emulator. Not many quality games on there.
