Default Best method of PSX Emulation / Conversion

Hi All,

Im struggling with the method of PSX Emulation. I own MGS1 and have made an ISO using Magic ISO. Then i converted the ISO using Simple Popstation v2, and made an EBOOT and KEYS. Made a folder in GAME, and transferred over.

However when i open the GAME from XMB, i just get a black screen. I can quit to the XMB, it seems maybe bad conversion / emulation.

So as there are a number of guides around, whats the best way of doing the whole emulation / conversion?

Thanks,

Apparently I cant post URLS to you because I dont have enough posts yet. So, copy and paste the link below to your browser.
PHP Code:
http://www.pspmod.com/forums/custom-firmware/31954-popsloader-every-pops-3-90-m33.html
This hopefully should help you, assuming your not running POPS already. Sometimes running a different FW helps.
