Loud beep during PSX games

I have been playing MGS through the 3.71 popsloader on my 3.90 m33-3 psp and it was fine the first couple hours but suddenly I hear random beeps. At first I thought it may have been the game but they are much louder then the game volume and at very random moments.

Is this common? An issue?

could quite be possibility be a bug within the audio cpu in the emu, try a different copy or try something else to see if its only a single problem
