Default Compression of game files

The only files ive been compressing are the .cso's and ps1 isos.

Are you able to compress the GBA games? They are pretty hefty in size if you get alot of them and was wondering if there was any way to compress them effectively.

zip ur roms and your emulator will still be able to recognise them... it will save you a lot of room..

make sure it is zip format tho.. not rar format or anything

I went through all my nes and snes roms and zipped them. Just right clicked on the file, scrolled to winzip, then clicked add to Filename.zip.

Worked perfectly for both nes and snes, but it would not work for Dgen 1.7 lite or gpsp. How did you zip those roms cheema? I can zip them and it will show them in the emulators, but neither allow the roms to start w/o freezing or reverting back to the homepage.

dude not every emulator will read ur roms as zips..

the emulator should come with a readme file.. inside that it will let you know if it reads zip format
