Thanks everyone, all this info is very helpful. I would probably want to go with the newer cfw then because i still want to be able to play the new games and i mostly just want to emulate psx and neo geo games. For that should i go with the 5.0?

Also just to be safe Im gonna buy the mms and pandora from the shop...once the money gets transfered into the paypal account (been ages, wish they just took credit cards lol).

Well, if anyone happens to live in the lawrenceville/atlanta, GA area that would want to show me how to do this stuff, id be down lol....toss me a pm. I want to learn this stuff, just really dont want to mess my psp up lol. Thanks again for all the advice though!

Ok, will the 4.01m33 still let me play regular umd games then? If so then that would be perfect for me.

Depends on where in Tennesee, ill be on vacation for a little bit around then.

Cool. That drive would take about 2.5 to 3 hours. Not too bad, unless there is someone in GA that wants to help out.

look for emuloader for 3.xx firmware.all the emulators in its pack work for 3.xx 4.xx and 5.xx so if you want to go to 5.00 m33-4 you can.
