Yeah, so I was wondering if my PSP with 5.00 m33-6 CFW is capable of spoofing to play Final Fantasy VII PSN. I tried following the tutorial (the techrecipies one or whatever), but I didn't see the all important version.txt anywhere, which has left me stuck...Can anyone help? Thanks.

(btw, I sort of posted this once before but since it didn't get a response and i'm kind of anxious now to get a ps final fantasy running, i'm posting it again. No harm in that, right?)

You have to create the version.txt i think

Do you know how I would go about doing that? The tutorial doesn't say anything...nor does it seem anyone else...

By the way, here is where I'm stuck, in case I wasn't clear
4. Then go down to Use version.txt (currently: Disabled) and hit X to Enable it.

This option doesn't appear on my menu, this is where I can't do anything.

Thanks...OK, I should have asked this before but is there any chance this would brick the system ? And if so...how the hell does so many suceed at doing the bypass and not get their system bricked??

it won't brick your system, worse case scenario is a faulty install which results in a freeze when you check the system info, as long as you do as I posted you will be fine
