How to put a ps1 save onto the psp?

I ripped my purchased copy of heart of darkness onto my psp and I have reached a point where the the game gets stuck on a loading screen.

I then downloaded a full game save from game FAQs, and the file is titled .gme I am not 100% sure what the file needs to be in to load up on the psp playstaion emulator.

A little help would be greatly appreciated.

Try the popsloader plugin since it can help you get past the loading screen. You can also copy the PSX game save off your psp onto your PS3 and play your ps1 game on there.

I think the only way to get a psx save off your psx memory card is too buy an adapter for the PS3 and transfer to the PS3 then to the psp.

Actually problem was solved and it was a lot easier than expected...

All i had to do was download a few different versions of popsloader, loaded the game holding L1 and L2 and changed versions, turns out it worked flawless on an older version of pops loader.
