Anyone know where I can get a walkthrough for Final Fantasy 8 in .dat format to put onto my psp? ANY help would be appreciated. Actually I have a copy of an old walkthrough in pdf format is there a tool I can use to convert it to .dat?

But, Geek9, I don't think that helps...

I've got a walkthrough here: FF8 PSX Walkthrough.rar
Just extract the "document.dat" file to your FF8 folder and you can view it using the "Software Manual" option by bringing up the Home menu while playing.

Not sure if the download is still out there but...I use a program called PSP Document Creator. What I do is go onto gamefaqs or what ever site you would normally use, copy and paste what I want into Notepad and save as a .txt
Then the program converts it to a DOCUMENT.dat only requiring the game ID your using (which I usually find in the link in my sig.)

I used the walkthrough for getting all the cards.

Since you have the og walkthrough in pdf you can
use the select tool in acrobat reader to copy all the
pages and save them out in another program and
use that doc tool to save the pics as a guide like
the pdf .
