need help using GEmp with pokemon gold/silver

the time isn't passing by on the games when i'm not playing. is there any way to fix that?

Probably not cause it isn't a Nintendo DS. Its PSP emulation... (Or so I'm amusing cause you have it in...

It's because every GBC cardridge has an internal battery which handles time/date, saves etc etc. But when emulating you don't, unless you have an emulator which is capable of emulating an internal battery.

I know for sure most PC GB/C/A emulators are capable of doing so.
