Firmware. I'm not tech savy at all (got a co-worker to use his pandora to put CFW on it).

I'd just rather be able to update the system though the UMD update or through Sony. Is there I way to do that? I like custom themes and all, but I couldn't play Undead Knights, and I'm worried I won't be able to play Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines (and connect it safely to my PS3 for the two special unlockable weapons) or Kingdom Heart: Birth By Sleep (upon release).

If removing the custom firmware is the way to do that, please tell me how?!?

So I've finally decided to get a PSP and try to mod it, but I don't know which PSP to get. My mate suggested a PSP-2000 and looking around the internet that seems like the best option. Would one of them be OK or do you suggest something else?

What are your favorite emulators?

I just want to get everyones opinions on what their favorite emulators are and why.

And I'll start
GBA
I have UO gpSP kai for my gameboy advance emulator. It works beautifully, all my games play great and the games' built in save features work just like they would on a gameboy which is a real plus for me.

Genesis
I have PicoDrive for that, I've really enjoyed playing Sonic 3 & Knuckles on my PSP at full speed with such great colors. The game saves were working just like they would on a Genesis at first but I saved a game in PicoDrives UI and now it hasn't been saving them right so I have to manually do it. Idk whats up with that.

Super Nintendo
I have Snex9x Euphoria for my SNES games. I haven't really played with this too much yet but I've noticed the FPS are a bit on the low side. The games are still playable, though. I would like a solid 20fps, but I'm only getting 15 as of now. I've had a chance to look around a bit but it doesnt look like anyone has a better emulator as of now as far as I know. Also if I exit out of it and try and re-enter it hangs my PSP and I have to take my battery out, I'm not sure why.

Nintendo Entertainment System
I use NesterJ for this. I haven't used this one much either but its the only emulator so far that doesn't have fullscreen set as default. I haven't had a chance to look at that setting yet but I'm sure its in there somewhere. All the games run smoothly on this, even though I believe I may have an old version of the emulator.

And as of now those are all the emulators I'm using. How about everyone else?

Hi all,

Ok this is my first question ever so let me start by saying I am waiting on my PSP 2001 Daxter Edition to arrive, so I was checking vids on Youtube of how people installed custom firmware on their PSP without a Pandora Battery...

My question is, is this method any different from having a Pandora battery ie will the PSP function any differently? Is there ANY difference with or without the special battery? Thanks.

Hi all!
I just bought a PSP 2001 Daxter Edition that comes with 3 Games and a Movie, in brand new condition (it was used for less than an hour most!!). It should be here by next week so I wait in vain lol.

Anyway, I am not new to modding / customising gaming consoles but I have never experimented with a PSP so I am excited! I just love experimenting with electronic gadgets haha.
