Ever since I got into the whole CFW scene, I've always had a problem with running my purchased backed up ISOs. I've tried everything I could find on the internet. Disable plugins, use/dont use UMD, change the UMD ISO mode, try different M33 versions, and change the 'game folder homebrew' option back and forth in the recovery menu config.

About half the ISOs I put on my psp work perfectly, but for the other half I always get the same thing... "The game could not be started (80020148)"

It seems like I'm the only one with this problem and it's been troubling me for about a year. What else could it be? once i'm on 6.31 now, i can't download demo's, i can't activate my psp, i get error codes like this...80109D80

i was previously getting errors saying my system is activated on another, blah blah blah...never got that when i use to mess around on 6.20, but this is my 1st with 6.31.

i can download demos on my cfw setup for some reason...so i did this to correct my system is registered on others issue, cause i don't know why it would say that either, never happened on 6.20:

i wiped my psp totally clean to a fresh 1.5 with hellcats...ran 6.31 directly off of that, made a completely new psn id on the website on my pc cause it's faster. logged in no problem, go to the store no problem, can't download shit or activate my system still!! now i'm at that point with just the error code i listed in the beginning.

googled the hell out of that code, it's all over the place with no posts saying it was fixed and many posts saying that not even Sony gave out any helpful fixes...seems to me Sony hates cfw so much and yet their ofw is shit.

i've done pretty much every trick i can think of, i thought for sure a totally wiped clean psp would fix all...nope
