From PSP-Hacks: [Tutorial/Forum] Sharing LittleBigPlanet Levels with CFW - PSP Hacks - Forums (http://www.psp-hacks.com/forums/f133/tutorial-forum-sharing-littlebigplanet-levels-with-cfw-t250630/)

I'll try get some of the links from PSP-Hacks onto here. :D

Edit: The ChrisMims guy is working on getting the preorder costumes for everyone, working like levels do apparently.

If you've already finished LittleBigPlanet and you wish that you could share and download the custom levels without updating your firmware, you're in luck because there is a way :)

This is a temporary solution, made by me, to share custom levels without updating your PSP's firmware.

About FullMoon: FullMoon includes all of the level files, as well as the FECONFIG.BIN file. All that you need to do is drag the files to "X:\PSP\SAVEDATA\UCES01264PROFILE" and be sure that you replace the FECONFIG.BIN file, or else it won't work.

*Tip: Try to be sure that your levels have a custom icon, otherwise it will be very hard to tell which levels are used, and which ones aren't.*

*Tip: Make a .txt file and put it in the "X:\PSP\SAVEDATA\UCES01264PROFILE" folder so you can easily keep track of which slots are used, and which ones are not.*

Version 1.00: DOWNLOAD (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=KL0M7DF4)

*To Download Levels:*

1. Click on the link in the "Attached Files" box at the "Link" section of a post.
2. Click on "Save" when the dialog box pops up.
3. Open the ZIP file with a program such as WinRAR or jZIP.
4. Copy the 5 files to the "X:\PSP\SAVEDATA\UCES01264PROFILE" folder on your memory stick.

*To Share Levels:
*
1. Make a level on LittleBigPlanet, then save it.
2. Exit out of LittleBigPlanet and connect your PSP to a computer via USB.
3. Go to "X:\PSP\SAVEDATA\UCES01264PROFILE."

There are 5 files for each level:

Code:
---------
xx.CBF
xx.LBF
xx.LVL
xx.MBF
xx.MIP
---------
Each level has a number/letter/number and letter combination (xx), which indicates which slot it uses (which part of a crater on the moon.)

* Put these files into a Zip folder ([Title of your level].zip)
* Go to , and upload your ZIP file with your level.
* Make sure that your zip file contains *5* files, each of which have the same name (Example: 58.CBF 58.LBF, 58.LVL, 58.MBF and 58.MIP)

When submitting a level on this forum, try to follow this format:

Code:
---------
Level: [Level Name]
Author: [Your Name]
Theme: [Blank, Down Under, Orient, Bazaar, etc.]
Size: [x kb or x mb (as it appears on LittleBigPlanet)]
Version: [x.xx (just in case you make changes to the level)]
Description: [Anything else you want to add in]
Picture: [Please add a screenshot if you can to show your level]
Link: [File location from MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service (http://www.megaupload.com/)]
---------
Don't forget to add the file link with your post, containing a _ZIP_ file with the 5 files!

*Example:*

Code:
---------
Level: Test 1
Author: ChrisMims
Theme: Snow
Size: 160 kb
Version: 1.00
Description: This is my first level made on LittleBigPlanet. Enjoy :) EDIT: This test file is not playable, unless you are using FullMoon.
Picture: None. Sorry :p
Link: Test 1.zip (http://uploading.com/files/aabe8121/Test%2B1.zip/)
---------
*
FAQ:*
*Q: *I already have a level numbered "xx," but I want to keep it, and add a new one. What should I do?
*A:*Just change the number from "xx" to "yy," for example. I don't know how high the numbers can be, so try to keep them low.

*Q:* Why can't I just use the "Publish" option on LittleBigPlanet?
*A:* You can, but it will require you to update your firmware for the PlayStation Network, which will get rid of your custom firmware, if you are using one.

just got it a while ago. it is (for me) one of the best games for the psp with the greatest controls, the battle system is a mix of turn base and realtime, but more on turn base. =( good graphics, interesting story line but gets a lil blurry once you get 30mins into the game, you should get it even if youre not an AC fan(like me)

edit. the town maps are reused.. =(

Decrypting and UMDGen...

I thought I was no stranger to decrypting but it turns out the method I've been using doesn't work for every game, or at least not for Ys Seven. What I did was:

1. Open ISO in UMDGen and extract EBOOT to MMS
2. Run Yoshihiro's decryptor, press circle
3. Delete original EBOOT in UMDGen and replace with new one ("add existing file")
4. Save as uncompressed ISO and enjoy the game

But apparently if you do this with Ys Seven something messes up and instead of the game being 700mb it's 500mb. To make the game work it turns out you need to export the original file list and import it back in after replacing the EBOOT.

Soooo... I would've never noticed 200mb difference if someone at another site hadn't pointed it out, and I'm wondering if the method I've been using up until now has f'd up some of backups without me knowing it.

They all boot fine, so I'm hoping that's enough reason to not worry... Or could there be problems further on in the games? Should I use the export/import method from now on, or is it really only useful for Ys Seven? (Or a select few games?)

Sorry for such a long post, I tried to keep it as simple as possible

just finished this game. id give it an 8.5 out of 10. pretty wicked graphics. great soundtrack awesome gameplay. so the story revolves on X1 and X2. twin brothers who were cloned from the genes of the jedi falon grey. this and that. the older brother becomes evil and you have to defeat him. just like starkiller (dark vader's apprentice from the force unleashed ) these 2 characters were exclusivelly made for this game, i recomend this game for both starwars and non starwars fans alike. its pretty great. ^^

I have tried to rip both of my maddens (09/10) and they both always seem to freeze and shut off my psp. Anyone else have this problem and know of a fix? Happens on both 5.00 m33-6 and 5.50 GenD2.

There shouldn't be any problems with this, am I right? I have two versions of Tales of Eternia on PSP--the original PAL release and the undub--but in both versions the intro movie skips like crazy and is basically unwatchable. The game plays fine otherwise. Is it just this game or what?
