(game could not be started) the only thing i did to my psp is install game catagories v 10 plugin, but i dont think that is what made my eboots not work any more, does any one know why they would stop working? thanks!

What are your favorite emulators?

I just want to get everyones opinions on what their favorite emulators are and why.

And I'll start
GBA
I have UO gpSP kai for my gameboy advance emulator. It works beautifully, all my games play great and the games' built in save features work just like they would on a gameboy which is a real plus for me.

Genesis
I have PicoDrive for that, I've really enjoyed playing Sonic 3 & Knuckles on my PSP at full speed with such great colors. The game saves were working just like they would on a Genesis at first but I saved a game in PicoDrives UI and now it hasn't been saving them right so I have to manually do it. Idk whats up with that.

Super Nintendo
I have Snex9x Euphoria for my SNES games. I haven't really played with this too much yet but I've noticed the FPS are a bit on the low side. The games are still playable, though. I would like a solid 20fps, but I'm only getting 15 as of now. I've had a chance to look around a bit but it doesnt look like anyone has a better emulator as of now as far as I know. Also if I exit out of it and try and re-enter it hangs my PSP and I have to take my battery out, I'm not sure why.

Nintendo Entertainment System
I use NesterJ for this. I haven't used this one much either but its the only emulator so far that doesn't have fullscreen set as default. I haven't had a chance to look at that setting yet but I'm sure its in there somewhere. All the games run smoothly on this, even though I believe I may have an old version of the emulator.

And as of now those are all the emulators I'm using. How about everyone else?

Hello:

Alright, I have tried to search on how to do this, but I keep on getting errors for some reason.

First off, I'm using PSX2PSP (Popstation GUI) v1.4.2 - is there a different or updated one I should be using?

I have not found a good tutorial on how to initially set this up. What is Base.pbp? keys.bin? I have no idea where to get these, if I even need them.

What I'm trying to do is I found my Spyro the Dragon PS1 game. I do not have a PS1 anymore lol. So, I got this fantastic idea to play it on my PSP, since I heard you can do that. I now have a .BIN file and a .CUE file.

I went into PSX2PSP, selected the .bin file as the 'ISO/PBP file' (apparentally .BIN is ok.) The game titles and IDs show up nicely. I select the output folder. I did not touch the custom ICONs/Images. So, now what? Extract ISO? Convert? Neither work. When I hit 'convert', it says it cannot find a BASE.pbp. What is that?

-----------

So, I am very confused as to what to do. I am running 5.50 GEN-B2 on my PSP, if that makes any difference. If someone could tell me what to do or point me to a nice tutorial, that would be excellent.

Thanks!

~Ennon

(and yes, I have searched Google quite a bit, but to no avail, if anyone mentions that I should search more)

Google's results didn't help, searching on the forums isn't working as the NoSpam image never displays. But I didn't see anything about the error in this section of the forum so I assume there isn't a thread on this.

Put my copy of Dragon Warrior VII and put it through PSx2PSP. The disks are fine, the ISO I ripped is working on a standard computer emulator, but the PSP yields the 80000004 error. I'm running 5.x I haven't had this issue with any of my other games but this is my first multiple disk game I've done.

Could I be compiling it incorrectly in PSx2PSP? Which I think the case might be, what the accepted way to make a multiple disk image into a single EBOOT file?
