KID_U_NOT

In order for your computer to "Recognize" the plugin you need to "enable it' on Recovery Mode.

After you anabled it as soon as you TURN on your PSP and its connected to your USB. The computer will automatically pop up and say the "New hardware" then you have to install the drivers locating them from in your OWN computer.

Lommer included the drivers for the NEW PSP TYPE B so you can use them as soon as it says the new hardware found.

***************EDIT*****************

Nice job man! this will help a lot of people! we should all try to get the games that WONT and WILL run using the plugin. I myself will test today "NFS Carbon" if this works I'll tel you so you can edit your post Urineanus with Carbon

Great post!

If you are running 3.03 OE you should have a folder labeled GAME150 in the psp folder @ the root of your MS. Put all apps/games for 1.5 in this folder and they will work. This is explained in the read me of 3.03oe, that you obviously did not read. I use fast loader on my 3.03oe-b PSP everyday. It works I assure you.

okay did you put the plug ins folder @ the root of your memory stick? If you did are they all enabled? be sure to disable no UMD option in recovery mode. put a UMD in the tray when it is off. start the psp, and press select. What happened?
what version of fast loader are you using? I am using 0.7 I followed the steps on my post again after formatting my MS and was playing vice city stories with in mintes. I did this to check that I have got every thing down right. There is a problem somewhere in your recovey mode settings. try things liek leaving your CPU speed @ UMD/ISO default and not cranked all the way up to 333. I would say to format your memory stick and start this process from scratch because you may have the directories wrong and/or someother app is conflicting with USB mounts settings.

Can you be more specific: What exactly the problem is? and are you using other plugins?

well, i have the PSP Type-B Drivers installed but i can't get my PSP to Auto-Connect and i have no other plugins. I got Fastloader v0.7 installed but i have to go through IRShell to use it. So its no help. Like Urineanus suggested i reformat my Memstick and did everything but Fastloader still should up as Corrupted Files.

Unless we get some specific info from you I think we are running out of options. got to the directory you extracted the download to maximize the window and press print screen; then open paint and while holding ctrl press v. save this image and host it on imageshack.us then post that image here, I have a hunch.

first run the usbhostfs_pc.exe on your pc, then turn on your psp, you will see command prompt (connected to device) don't close it

Default GUIDE:PLAY ISO/CSO FILES FROM YOUR PC via USB for 3.03OE

UPDATED!! READ AGAIN!

(modified from lommer's original post!)

Get this file http://www.zshare.net/download/usbmount103k-zip.html

extract it

Step1: copy the 'seplugins' folder to the root of your memorystick

Step2: make a new folder on the main Drive of your pc for example: c:\usbmount

open the folder and copy all the files and the iso folder from extracted download to c:\usbmount

step3: Enter recovery menu/configuration and Disable use NO-UMD.

go to plugins and enable follow plugins:

usbhostsfs.prx [vsh] (enabled)
usbmount_vsh [vsh] (enabled)
USBMOUNT.prx [GAME] (enabled)
usbhostfs.prx [GAME] (enabled)

important: if you have other plugins disable those first!

exit recovery mode and go to XMB.

Step4: connect and turn on the psp, the first time your pc will detect it (a new hardware found), and ask you to install the driver....the driver is in the usbmount103 of the download,
folder(pc driver)!!

install the driver ...the psp is now reconized as psp type-b
now turn off your psp

place your ISO backups that you made from your UMDs (because you would never use pirated goods!) in the iso folder located at the directory you extracted the download to.

NOW open usbhostfs_pc.exe located in the pc folder AND DO NOT CLOSE IT!!!!!

place a UMD in your PSP while it is off.

turn on PSP, it will connect to the pc automatically, without having to go to the usb link option in the settings tab.

now press select while in the XMB and you will get a menu.

select iso

it should direct you to the iso folder on your PSP and you should see your back ups

select the one you want with X

press select to exit menu

go to games tab and scroll to UMD

your iso game skin should come up

select and play

if you get a game could not start error, try to boot the UMD option again, a lot of times it takes two boot attempts to get it going, especially wjen you select another iso to boot with the XMB plug in menu!!!

WORKS BEST WITH 3.03OE!!!!!!!!
MAKE SURE TO TURN OFF DISABLE UMD AND ALL UMD REGION OPTIONS IN RECOVERY MODE UNLESS YOU ARE USING AN OUT OF REGION UMD!!!!!

some games wont work so far these are
Madden 2006
Brothers in Arms D day
Monster Hunter

GAMES THAT WORK
socom fire team bravo
NFS Carbon
Moto GP
Vice city stories
MADDEN 2007
Medal of honor heros
Sonic rivals
lego star wars 2
metal gear portable ops
F1
Ridge Racer

DOES NOT WORK WITH PSX ISOs!!!!!

EDIT:::
Sorry for this mis-information. As I just learned from reformatting the MS you do not need fast loader for this process. For this I apologize.

i have 2 2GB sticks and i find myself taking hours to copy over games to try them before i decide what i really want to put on the stick, this work fantastic and iit is going to save me a lot of time figuring out what games i want to take with me , and then the ones i don't want to take i can still play from home, only thing that would make this better is a wireless solution on the same concept, if anyone ever knows how to do this wirelessly let me know.

thanks a million though this is a definate time saver

EDIT
starwars lethal alliance is another game that does not work
