Top 15 Homebrew Apps
Okay, i am bored on a sunday night so i've decided to list my all time (so far) top 10 homebrew apps for the PSP (Besides KXploit cuz that of course would be #1)
10. Super Turbo Turkey Puncher 3 -
A simple game with the DOOM type fps interface. basically you stay in one spot while and endless slew off turkey's fall down nto the screen 1 by one. punch them 4 times and they explode into doom-gibs, only to be replaced by yet another identical clone of the turkey you just destroyed!!! the whole point of the game is to see how many turkeys you kill until you feel like making a sandwich or doing something else productive...
09. Peanut Butter Jelly Time -
Yes it is HIGHLY lame!!! but how cool is it to be able to pull that up at ANY TIME, ANYWHERE and know full well that half the ppl in the vicinity will groan in exasperation.
08. PSP Reader 1.1.0 -
A .txt reader for the PSP. simple yet effective. for those of you who LOVE your emulators this is perfect for READING the walkthroughs!!!
07. Scrabble Assistant -
Not much of you will care for this, but if you play Scrabble on-line, this is your little cheat device. You can lay down any amount of letters and it will list every legal word in the english language. it will also tell you if the word you're thinking of is legal or not.
06. Squarez -
Another simple yet delightful game... think Snake but you always stay a tiny square... you must move your square to pick up the randomly generated bits of 'food'. after every bit of 'food' you eat, another enemy square pops up on the screen and moves up or down or left to right. touching an enemy ends the game.
05. PSP Air Hockey -
the best 2 player homebrew game yet! Air Hockey Rocks!!! player one uses U,D.L.R and the L Trigger for his paddle, while Player 2 uses Square, Triangle, X, Circle, and R Trigger for his paddle... quite fun, just make sure your 'friend' knows how to treat a $250 piece of equipment...
04. Home-Brew Pac-Man -
Self-Explanatory. it's freaking pac man, WIDESCREEN!
03. PSPChess
For all us chess geeks out there, the computer opponent is FREAKING HARD!!! a very adequate way to pass the time heheh.
02. Dual Tetris -
OMGZ!!! t's tetris, but 2 blocks come down at the same time!!! i originally got this for my fiance's psp cuz she is a tetris FREAK, and she loves it! a definate challenge for those of you who constantly PWN tetris every time u boot it up...
01. PSPersonalize -
Objectivy your pornographic backgrounds to anybody unlucky nuff to see your psp! or don't. it's up to you... perfect app for 1.0 or 1.5fw users.
00. (Honorable Mentions) PSDJ -
It's an MP3 player with 7 different visualizations. perfect for turning your PSP into a little wi-fi system.
00. (Honorable Mentions) Sudoku -
for all u MATH geniuses out there (NOT ME). this game involves arranging a 9x9 square board with the numbers 1-9, but the number can only appear once in each kind of row. Up Down and Diagonal.
Okay, that about wraps it up! if any of the rest of you have any objections to this list, by all means, make your own... it passes up quite a bit of time... :P
