hehehe.me i got 2 gta lcs both tested by me and 100% unpatched.i just got lucky and bought it from 2 noobs who didnt know the importance of these umds.hehehe.as of now im planning to sell the other one but im kinda thinking maybe i should keep it as reserve in case i need it for extra purposes.hehehe.i also got a nba live 2006 which shows update to 2.00 i wonder if it will work also.hehehe

I had a 3.11, then i swapped psps w/ my friend

Now i Have a 2.81 (i also have a gta unpatched)

WHAT DO I DO NOW?!? i treyd to download that thing but idk what to do with it. HELP ME

what you do is first upgrade to 3.03 and then use the easy downgrader for 3.03 to 1.50 .

im not sure how to do it, i formated my memory stick. and im at 2.81 and i downloaded that easy downgrader for 3.03 but idk whare to put it or how to run it

you run this application from your pc . all you have to do is connect your psp to your pc and it wil copy all the files you need for the downgrade.
then disconnect and run the downgrader from your psp xmb

it wont open on my comptuer, becasue its a .rar file it trys to open with windows media player. is there somthing i need for it to work

.rar files are archives like .zip files. You need to use winrar to extract it. It will give you an .exe file (and usually a txt file). This app you then run while your psp is hooked up via usb.

You can use google to find winrar

Just wondering, and yes I am new to this with a 2.81 psp. I went out and got a GTA LCS that appears to be the right one as per my reading the one I want has the 2.00 update on it. I was wondering though if this is the only disk that this works with? One of the other games I have "Need for Speed Most wanted 5-1-0 also has the 2.00 updater on it. I am going to be using the GTA, but figured I'd ask as maybe a future option for someone else.

I believe it's the only one, there is a bug in the savegame management of LCS, that with the help of Fanjita's eloader creates the window we need to execute homebrew code. It's not directly linked to the game having update 2.0 on it. I think it's just a way of recognising it.

I'm in the process of doing this downgrade right now, and while I am following the directions it seems that there may be one small step missing, maybe it's obvious to some, but for me it seems like a big step to be missing. (please correct me if I am wrong)

After step 2 when the psp resets itself you should remove the gta lcs umd or else it just starts the game again and the firmware resets to 3.03 (not 3.03 HEN) found this out because I was following directions, now waiting for my battery to be 75% so I can continue.
