Thanks lommer...going to downgrade my second psp later, just replaced the laser as this was not working correctly, I've got an unpatched gta when I bought my first psp...lucky me...so its all looking good.

@ jdm_jinkie: No you cannot, i'm sorry. You need the one with the 2.0 update. Search around on the forum, there is a thread which helps you identify the right game. Your best bet to aqcuire one is via Ebay, or borrow it from a friend if your lucky.

is there a easy installer for the homebrew enabler for 303? is because im having trouble understanding the directions in transfering the 303hen to my psp? what does it mean copy and paste the MS_ROOT to your ms? do i have to make a new folder or just open the psp folder and paste their?

I've got a 2.81 psp (it was a 1.50 version but accidentally upgraded to 2.81). I've bought the GTA LCS unpatched version. What I need to know is whether there's any risk in going through this tutorial and trying to downgrade my psp. Is there a chance that I might brick it? Has anyone downgraded successfully using this tutorial? Has it gone wrong for anyone? What pitfalls do I need to be aware of. Appreciate any advice you can offer.

i just read the first page , correct me if im wrong.

if i have a psp with version 2.81 i dont need the gta game ? all i have to do is use those files to upgrade to 3.0 then downgrade to 1.5 then im good ?

there is no downgrader for 2.81 thats why you must upgrade to 3.03.

is it not possible if you have got a 2.81 to upgrade to 3.50 (and then downgrade to 1.5 using Lumines UMD)?

yes it is possible, if you cannot get the unpatched gts lcs. you must upgrade to 3.50 and use the 3.50 downgrader.

I were trying to upgrade my 2.81 to 3.50 but when I have put the eboot.pbp file on the memory card (in game folder) the psp cant see it, I have already tried to upgrade first to 3.03 but I stil cant see the file on the memory card, is there any update that I can download to upgrade from 3.03 to 3.50?

you don't see it because you don't have the update folder in game folder.
create a new folder and rename it UPDATE with caps and copy the eboot.pbp into the UPDATE folder.
