there would be no reason for a 2.0 emulatar because if you HAVE 2.0 then all the UMD games will work... but on older fw versions, the new games will check to see if version 2.0 is installed, and if it isnt installed, then the game wont run... all the fw switcher does is TRICK the 'version-checker' on the UMD hardware into thinking that these older versions are actually version 2.0... in REALITY it is actually still version 1.50 =p~

its only to play UMD games that require an higher version that you might have, very nice app indeed!

Yes, I'd like to know this, too. Of course, you can just press another button to get it back to where it was, but it'd be nicer if it resetted it back to w/e version it was upon reboot.

i cant wait untill i get my psp, i wish i had 1.5, but the psp still rocks more than anything else, even th ipod. its the best thing to be brought out by sony since the walkman

uhm right now the status is:

converted the eboots to 1.0 with sei psp tool but when i try to run it (on full battery) the psp logo thing flies by and then the screen goes black and the memorycard loads a little then it jumps back to the psp and says "The game could not be started. (80020148)"

will try with 30% battery later today

It asked me too insert my ac adapter before starting so i had then it worked perfectly try that

on a 1.0 or a 1.5 psp? doesnt work with ac adapter on 1.0..

Ha, I love this simple little program, all it does is change the flash0:\vsh\etc\version.txt with one from the 1.52,1.0,1.5, and 2.0 fw+psar dumps.

i was here thinking about this for a while alright can you run this fw trick on a jap 2.0 fw psp then trick the fw into 1.5 then update it into a 2.0 us update just thinking because i dont want to keep this stupid jap 2.0 fw ( stupid me ACTUALLY STUPid Bennihan5)

Uhm... No because you still need the 1.5 firmware to run homebrew apps.
