This is no joke, if you want to see it for your self... go to www.pspupdates.com plz do not ask me for the link that i dont have, just stay calm and wait till the September, 1st

Yoshiro from Team Wab just revealed that he managed to downgrade 1.5x PSPs back to 1.50. He will release the method on September, 1st. w00t! I really hope this would save the poor people around here who have suffered a v1.5x PSP for a long time. Stay tuned and wait to rock!

Geez I gotta hand it to team wab they right now are like the pioneers in the psp hacking scene
Hopefully something like this will be made for 2.0 since I imagine by this point there are more 2.0 users than 1.51 and 1.52

Heh. I reckon it's just the hardcore homebrew users on 1.0 + 1.5 now. Or just the dumb ones that don't know how to update. :]
These guys are kicking ass.. keep it up I say.

kk he says hes not got it functionin on the 2.0 yet but for the second time im possed off after a few weeks of the update all the old versions get hacked lol... does ne1 think he will be able to do 2.0's aswell? and i think he has done great to do this but i hope the bugs are cleared for every1 else

Yea I hope they can managed to do that. 2.0 can be hacked and it will. I hope there will be a downgrade for it though.

2.0 Isn't that all high and mighty. Like PSPHelpLive said, 2.0 can and will be hacked.

Along with 2.5, and the eventual 3.0. It'll just take a little longer

I really miss Homebrew on my PSP. I played like so much of it. But I updated my PSP which was my own fault. But I knew something is going to happen to 2.0. So I updated it to 2.0. I had 1.5 by the way.

Sony knows this
They know they can never put a halt on the homebrew community but thats not gonna stop them from trying
If you look at the psp it is capable of so many things and sony knows that
2.0's out now and people are already wanting a 3.0 they want flash, an adhoc IM setup,more supported formats,ect...
In the next release im sure many of these things and more will be added but also there will be more security and anti-homebrew crap
Also sony is making a keyboard,camera,and gps for the psp all of these will require a newer firmware since right now the psp's usb slot is not in host mode but it is capable of it

Really sony is just using firmware updates to wage war with homebrew hackers

Thats all true. But then the updates keep on getting sexier and sexier and your brain always tell's you UPDATE UPDATE! But you have to fight agaisnt it.

i'm new at this and all; however, could it be possible for the homebrew crew to make a version to get around version 2.00's upgrade? i've heard many great things about the program... unfortunately, it was already too late for me to use it.

it would be cooler, if they could crack the psp, that it could work with two systems...
one which u could upgrade, everytime sony brings out a new firmware and the other which stays at 1.5
