same here dude...same here.now i can D/grade a few of my friends psp who are on 3.50 Sony F/W.
Just need to find Lumines (hopfully my country has some in stock :P)

maybe the firmware is not installed right try updating to 3.03 then to 3.50 if that doesnt work maybe the motherboard is bad.

I just tried it and I'm getting the same error message. My psp should no problems upgrading to ORIGINAL Sony FW and it can't even do that. This sucks so much. I don't want to wait 2 weeks to get my PSP from Sony. I doubt I will get a new psp. Do you know if I will get a refurbished one ??

BTW: Thanks for the help and link the_begginer. I know you tried as much as you could. I'll just send it to Sony and see what happens.

Rename the 1.5 eboot to UPDATE.PBP then put that into the UPDATE folder.

when i renamed it..it didnt work and showed up as corrupt data but when i didnt rename it it worked just fine.
