Talking 3.50 Downgrade tutorial

Hey guys, good stuff on the downgrader. I searched everywhere a few months ago and figured I was screwed after updating my PSP firmware, now I am pumped about testing this method.

The Big Question:

After looking around at every local store on the web, I only see Lumines Plus available. Will this version work?

where are you based? If you are in the UK Asda are apparently selling them for £10. I have never heard of Lumines Plus - the greatest hits, platinum versions are fine as well

it is not possible with lumines 2 - it has to be the UNPATCHED version of LUMINES 1 nothing else (apart from greatest hits or platimum)

Well this is just great, i was supposed to downgrade my freinds phatty. But as I updating the firmware from 3.40 to the 3.50 in the link the status bar stopped at 99%.
I thought maybe if I wait a few minutes it would reach 100%, but i don't think that waiting is gonna do any good because it's been a good 2 HOURS since it stoppped at 99%.

Any one know what i should do? Will the PSP brick? (I have tried pressing all the buttons but no results) Should I disconnect the power source?

If it does brick (which I'm assuming it will) what should i tell my freind?
That I got jacked?
That I left it at a airport?
