Hey guys,

I am a super n00b when it comes to PSP modding. I have followed all the directions for doing the 3.51 upgrade and It works fine. I just need to know how to install the emulators and running game ISOs off of the PSP. Can anyone help? Thanks!

well emulators go in the GAME150 folder iso go in the ISO folder in the root of the memory stick.

GAME150 doesnt exist in my memory card. I created a folder for it and no go. I downloaded the 1.5 SNES9xTYL and i made a new folder called SNES and it did not go through.

As far as the ISOs are concerned, do I not need DevHook or Fanjita or anything like that with this new firmware?

no you dont need devhook just place them in the folder and they will run of the memory stick try your game folder for the emulators.

Hey Guys, thanks for all the answer and help i read the whole forum and i was able to fix some of my problems, but I still have one Problem, this is my first time that i downgrade to 1.50 from a 2.71 and now I just upgrade to this version, now i never play iso games before, I download some games and some of them show on *.cso and other one's on iso, now i was able to play the *cso but i cant play the iso, and i dont know how to change it to the other format, if anybody can help me i will appreciate it, thanks again

So now that ive put the SNES emulator on the GAME directory and loaded up the 1.5, it shows the Icon for the SNES emulator, but it does not boot up...just gives me an error saying that it cannot be started.

I downloaded and installed NesterJ and it boots up just fine...any ideas?

try getting the latest snes emulator and argmarcos use psp iso compressor google it.

Hey Beginner

I got the latest emulator SNES9xTYL 0.4.2 and it still does not work...any more ideas? Sorry to bug on this thread but it relates to this firmware not working with this emulator....does anyone else have this issue?

Thanks for the initial post. I saw it on qj.net but was relentless to try it until i heard some feedback from the brave people who've tried it first.

Unfortunately all the install went will but i can't run the final Update tool yet because my psp battery is at 61% and the program aborts early unless it's at (at least) 75%

My hat goes off to those who've already put this in with success!

Ok I figured it out. I set the Kernal wrong in the Recovery mode. Sorry for the confusion. Keep in mind

1.50 for Emus and what not
