How to upgrade from 3.40 OE-A to 3.52 m33
Hey guys. I got my PSP a week ago and have been enjoying the CFW of 3.40 OE-A, but I've read about 3.52 m33 and was wanting to try that out. What exactly do I need to do to change to 3.52 m33 from my current CFW? The guides I've seen talk about changing from 1.50 to 3.52 m33 but not from another custom fw. Please help

Just follow the instructions as if at 1.50 but place the files in GAME150 instead. So either do it the manual way and create the flasher getting the eboots or use the easy installer and just place it the files in GAME150 and run.

Sounds good. Thank you!
One more question. To update to m33-4, do I have to run each update successively or just run the v4 update?

Once at 3.52M33, you can go directly to the 4th update, make sure you read the readme and license before hand though, and good luck.

If you are missing folders that are assumed to be there, all you need to do it format your memory stick through you PSP. This essentially makes your PSP create all the new and pertinent folders needed to fully use the CFW.
Beware though, formating causes a complete removal of all user placed and user created content, such as, backed up games, homebrews and game saves. If you do not wish to lose your content, back it up before proceeding.
On a side note; Is it just me? Or is there a massive influx of new members in the forums? I keep seeing members with a single digit post count posting similar types of help request threads everywhere. Don't get me wrong, though, I don't necessarily think it's a "bad" thing...

Search and read the damn forums like we have. |
