Firmware Installed: 1.5

Default Tutorial: Install 3.60M33on the PSP SLIM

NOTICE:
I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY DAMAGE OR 'BRICKING' THIS GUIDE MIGHT DO TO YOUR PSP, BATTERY, MEMORY STICK, PC

OVERVIEW: After creating a pandora battery and magic ms, you run a file on a homebrew compatible psp which writes some special files to the magic ms. you then insert both the pandora battery and the ms into the slim and downgrade

Requirements:

1-A normal (fat) psp running either custom firmware or the original 1.5 firmware.
2-A battery that is compatible with Pandora( see my compatibility thread) http://www.pspmod.com/forums/firmwar...lity-list.html (Pandora's Batery Compatibility list)
3-Memory Stick Pro duo, (MS Duo's won't work, so the stock 32 mb card won't work). Any other card, 64mb up to 4mb will work.
4- AC Adapter
5- A slim 3.60 PSP. duh

FILES YOU NEED:

- 3.60M33 Custom Firmware: File Details-M33-PSP-Slim-Custom-Firmware-3.60-PSP -
- Download Official 3.40 and 3.50 Updates here: PSP Downloads | and here: PSP Downloads |

INSTALLATION:
  1. Use this guide to create a Pandora's Battery and Magic Memory stick: Tutorial: How to unbrick your PSP via Pandora Battery - PlayStation Portable News - PSP Updates
  2. Once you have a funcional Pandora's Battery and Magic Memory stick ( the FAT psp boots into service mode when you insert the battery with the memory stick already inserted.) goto step 3.
  3. Extract the 3.60M33 Custom firmware archive.
  4. Run the fat psp with the Magic MS inserted but without battery (plug in the charger and turn it on).
  5. Select USB mode on the fat psp and from inside the archive you just extracted copy pandora_slim and pandora_slim% to PSP/GAME, or if your 1.5kernel is set to game150, PSP/GAME150 (by default it is set to PSP/GAME, but you can check in Recoverymode->Configuration->1.5kernel folder)
  6. Extract "EBOOT.PBP" from the 3.40 and 3.50 update packages you downloaded and rename them "340.PBP" and "350.PBP", then copy them to the "pandora_slim" folder you just copied to the PSP.
  7. Run the program you just copied on the fat PSP (pandora-slim creater).
  8. Insert the Magic Memory stick and then the pandora battery into the slim. The green light will turn on, but the screen will not, THIS IS NORMAL: DO NOT PRESS ANY BUTTONS
  9. To install press X, ONCE. Wait until the green battery light turns off. this should only take a few seconds, as you are only copying a few custom prxes and team m33's custom ipl.
  10. Break open a beer and pat yourself on the back: you slim psp is now homebrew compatible!!
Other Stuff

There is no permanent unbricker for the psp slim, only the usual recovery mode, so be careful when you mess in the flash.
Not all homebrew will work as the 1.5 kernel can not run on the PSP

For starters, if you're talking to me I'll ask any god damn question I like any god damn time I feel like it. Please, feel free to try and stop me.

Secondly, my post was obviously a joke to anybody but the most blind of fools and was directed at making fun of the exact noob questions you requested having a stop put to.
