PSP Firmware 4.0 really?
I heard some rumors that Playstation is going to release PSP firmware 4.0
I heard its supposed to have flash player 9. And a lot of other awesome features. If this is true when is it going to be released.  Thanks. |

I believe they have 4.0 currently in Japan. If you google it a few places say that US should be getting it in December, but nothing factual.

No, it hasn't been released in Japan yet. It's not on Sony's Japanese website and using Network Update on a Japanese PSP will download firmware 3.73.

I'm sure there will be other additions too for 4.00. I'm hoping that they include a proper RSS reader that supports text feeds. That way I can catch up to the news while I'm waiting for the bus. | |

oooh i'm exited for this one ( if its true) because there will most likely be a cfw for it! i accidentally updated to 3.73 (lol i wasnt sure what i was doing) and now i cant get a cfw and cant downgrade because i only have 1 battery and 1 psp and none of my friends have one so i'm stuck with ofw untill the cfw for 4.0 if it will be made | |
