Flash 1 not formatting NEED HELP URGENTLY

I have PSP slim, trying to install CFW gets stuck on formattingflash1 everytime. What can I do? Please help its urgent!

when I modded my gf slim I was scared shitless... but thank god the V3 Pandora has that nifty screen hack so you can see it boot on the slim...

i finally broke down and switched my slim at eb games. i walked in with my bricked slim and asked to see a used slim. i "wanted to see if they were the same size" then i handed him back my brick and walked out with a working psp

There is a way to fix this..it involves the DV3 MemStick and some files from Corey1942's Nandtool...I'll post it once I figure it out.

I have the same problem with my psp slim. It has firmware 3.71m33-2 previously installed too, but however I was the idiot who left the Pandora battery inside the psp for awhile, which I wasn't supposed to do. And then after it bricked I tried to redo the magic memory stick again and it just froze trying to format flash1 like this...

"Loading updater modules... OK
Formatting flash0... OK
Formatting flash1... (stays like that forever)"

You've corrupted your NAND Partition Table by flashing through USB in 3.71M33. You HAVE to update to 3.71M33-3 before using flash0 through USB or you will eventually screw up like this.

1. Backup your current magic memstick contents to your computer.
2. Make a nand dump of your PSP in its current state & keep the nand dump safely on your PC. **IMPORTANT**
3. Download nandTool 0.2 http://nds.cmamod.com/wordpress/?dl=20
4. Rename the nandtool_02.elf to backup.elf
5. Copy this backup.elf to the kd folder on your memstick, overwriting the existing backup.elf
6. Now go to the Universal Unbricker menu and choose the Make Nand Dump option. nandTool should start.
7. In nandTool, there should be an option caller "Other". Under "Other" choose "Format LFlash".
8. Now you can exit nandTool and use Universal Unbricker to unbrick. It wont freeze at formatting.

I am getting the EXACT same error when i tried installing CFW last night.

A few questions Leeishom:
Step 1. I no longer have the original Magic MemStick that i used, can i just create another one?

Step 2. I can't even turn on my PSP Slim (bricked), how can i create a NAND Dump in its current state? However i DID create a NAND Dump (approx 65mb is this correct?) when i 'first' attempted to install CFW on it, can i use this one?

Lastly, is there a FAILSAFE/NOOBPROOF tutorial for creating a Magic Memory Stick for Slim (i have a 3.52 M33-4 Fat PSP that i can use to create it)?
From what i understand it is different from the Fat MMS since that has a 1.50 FW on it & the Slim doesn't.
I'm guessing it was due to my MMS which was what caused my Slim to brick.
