well i know that xmb loader does work with the mem stick in but i was thinking if there was like any way to write it into the actual flash of the psp so you dont have to have the mem stick inserted.

it sounds like a good idea to me but i dont know if it would work

It wouldn't. Service mode, and in turn, pandora, works by directing the boot process to the memory stick. It's designed this way so Sony can repair any PSP even if its internal flash memory is corrupted. If you've got pandora's battery, the boot process must begin with the memory stick. There is no way to change this.
