Default Upgrading CFW?

I need more help! Yesterday I got the CFW working with help from you guys. The thing I used installed 3.71m33-2. I want to upgrade to the newest CFW available and how to install it.

Do I have to install other versions of cfw before I install 3.9 m33-3 or can I just jump up to that version. Also do I need Despertar del Cementerio v5?
THanks for all the help, I really do appreciate it.

You will need 3.90 m33-3 from Dark-AleX - PSP Developer
and
3.90 OFW
If you have wifi setup prior - it will dl it, if not, you need to get it from here -
Download latest PSP utilities, tools, cracks and hacks.

Default Upgrading CFW?

Okay, I have already dl the CFW from Dark-Alex. I'm in the process of dl the OFW 3.90 from Sony. Will I need to use my pandora battery and MMS again or can I just put these files on my memory stick and install them? I'm guessing I need to install the 3.90 OFW first correct.

Also I live in Hicksville, USA no Wifi out here can't even get cell reception.

Default Upgrading CFW?

All you need to do... First rename the offical 3.90 eboot.pdp to 390.pdp. Then place the 3.90m33 eboot and 390.pdp in one folder and name it that folder UPDATE. Then place in it ms/PSP/GAME. Go to your XMB/GAME/MEMORY STICK and there should be a update file there... just press [x] and there you go
