desperate, need help

hello all !!

So I have a big problem with my PSP, here is the story:
I bought not so long ago a new 4 GB card for it and I already had a 1GB one. I am so lazy that what I did is to take all the 1 GB file and put it in the 4 GB. I hoped it will work but it didn't
instead I forgot that the 1 GB did not work so well and the new 4 GB is a big mess now.
according to him (the PSP, yes I have a problem I speak to still objects) he is updated to "3.71 M33".
The problem is that I cant play games in it he says he cant play them (I mean not UMD gamez, downloaded gamez).
Also he cant play movies (again not UMD ones). And the most annoying thing is that he cant save games (now I do speak about UMD ones)! When I save them he says it is all right and when I try to load the save he says it is corrupt!
so I tried to format the card a few times and it also didn't solve the problem.
Also now I cant update it to a newer version

What can I do?
I really dont want to send it to a technician because in my country technicians tend to steal parts and put fake ones instead of the real ones that I have and then take the original ones to them.

Please help me! I really want to have a normal PSP that I can download gamez into it.

It sounds like you have fake parts (memory cards) that do not work so well.

May I suggest you download and install 3.90 m33-3 and reformat the card? Maybe your flash is corrupted and installing a newer firmware will fix it.

If you can go to recovery console, then you can select advanced\format flash1.

At first I had "3.52 M33-4" but today I managed to update it to "3.71 M33" but it was still not good. then I taught that upgrading it to "3.90 m33-3" would be ok and I didn't succeed.
and what was that other thing you were talking about recovery console? my flash is corrupted? what do you mean? can you elaborate please?

Turn off PSP, hold right trigger (R1) while you turn it on. You should get a recovery console menu - go to advanced\format flash1

The game wrote it can't save,
and the games/videos I downloaded still dont work

Try with a mem stick that yo know for a fact works well. At least then you can discover whether the issue is with your PSP or if it is your mem stix.
