Default My 3.93 CFW Report

Well, I stuck it out with 3.90 M33-3 since it arrived. I did not want to install 3.93 CFW because it is not an official release and the initial release was buggy.

All that has changed. I put it on my slim and fat. and basically, I love it. Seems the only major difference I can see thus far is the ability to get the FULL recovery console access from within XMB. Not the little console menu with just a few options, but the full thing as if you rebooted holding right trigger under 3.90 m33. most setting changes are instant and do not require a restart.

There is more but rather than ramble on, I recommend folks try it out. Remeber, this is a PSP and as long as you have an MMS and Pandora Battery, you can always go back, so why not forge ahead and give it a shot?

Here's what you do -

You must be on 3.90 M33-2 or higher first because this is a patch for that and needs it.
Download 3.93 CFW initial release and install according to the instructions.
Download 3.93 Update2 CFW release and install according to the instructions.
Download 1.50 add-on for it and install according to the instructions EVEN IF YOU HAVE A SLIM. On a slim, it will enable a few new features i the recovery console only, it won't give you 1.50 compatability. Trust me, you'll want the additional features for the slim.

After that your done. Press select from within XMB to see the recovery console and a few added features to it. Yes timemachine works fine. There are some plugins that don't work with it yet but are being worked on. Google for more info.

Well - It kinda blows that I don't have video ISO support anymore. I only ripped one ISO so no biggy for now.
