The last thing to try while waiting on the ebay issue and selling would be to reflash the entire thing by following the guiodes I sent you. It's really pretty easy to do and doesn't take much time.

I will give it a go. I will just buy one from a shop next time and not bother upgrading. The other psp i have doesn't charge after being upgraded i have to take battery out and charge it externally.

Where in the world are you? Know any PSP geeks close by? I would upgrade the CFW on that other PSP already on it.

How do you find out which cfw is on it? Am in Kent and do not know any psp experts locally.

Kentucky?

Anyway, go to settings, system settings, system information. What does it say for system software?

No Kent as in the garden of England Kent. I just assumed you were from the UK also. It says 3.90 m33-3. I am sure you know what that means.

This is on the PSP that you already owned? Cool. Notsure why that battery doesn't charge though. You up to date on M33 custom firmware is what it means. They are not releaseing any more until v4.0.

I will try swapping memory cards and batteries around and see if that makes things different. Ideally i would love two working psp's. Fingers crossed. I will try all the things you have suggested.
