Need help with ofw 3.90 downgrade

So I just got a psp slim a few weeks ago and I've been looking to downgrade it. I have a tool battery and I've been looking for the software for a magic memory stick. Now, I've attempted with many different mms creators, but I can't seem to get any of them to work. The closest I've gotten would be with DCv4 where after I put the tool battery in, the light goes green and turns off but nothing happens on the screen. Can anyone point me into the right direction?

well I think the problem lies in which kind of computer you use

well, it's an IBM Thinkpad T60 running on XP... I don't know how it would affect not being able to downgrade my psp's firmware

just use PSP GRADER latest version ie v0.0003.2 or something like that
