New PSP Slim (Really need help !!)

Hey guys,

I know everyone mite be like here's another noob asking the same question.... Well... i checked out a huge amount of post before getting my psp slim but still m unsure of how to proceed !!

I have a few queries to begin with.... What is the minimum work that I have to do to play iso games on my PSP??
Are the FastLoader or UMD loader applications any good and do they require CFW ??

If thats done then pls give me some links of the forum which can give me step by step guide for psp slim... and also i'll be gr8ful for any suggestions!! I m totally relying on you guys before doing anything with my PSP FW !!
