Default CFW 4.01m33-2 bricked or semi-bricked?

And yes just yesterday,i was trying to flash a theme downloaded from consolespot guess i messed up somewhere and now i'm unable to see my PSP wallpaper or theme or whatever.Just the recovery mode.

I also followed the guide where u downgrade it back to 1.50 and slowly upgrade it but i can't seem to "Run program at /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.pbp".The screen still stayed at the recovery menu

What's wrong with my PSP?Is it completely bricked that i need a Pandora's battery or is there any other way?

Default CFW 4.01m33-2 bricked or semi-bricked?

I just updated to 4.01m33 and then 4.01m33-2 with a newly formatted 1gb card.

I have a 4gb card with all my games, settings, and custom themes. I used the 1gb card in case it formatted the card I wouldn't lose my stuff. Well low and behold, my psp works like a champ with the 1gb card, but WILL NOT turn on with the 4gb card ( formatted to the old 3.80 firmware. )

Now I'm going to have to dig up my card reader, pull all my stuff of my 4gb card, reformat it for the 401.m33-2, and see what I can and cant use.

See if that was your problem too..

oh yeah.. spread the word, BACK UP YOUR SHIT FIRST, reformat with the 4.01m33-2 and the reload your programs.

psp are only "completely bricked" by do things such as drop it, and put pandora in when it smokes, you can recover it by reinstalling firmware using mms and pandora, sory there is noother way you must make or buy a pandora

Yeah after I hardmodded a Pandora I made a Softmod Pandora just in case. So yes I have like 3 psps batteries. So if you got a friend who has CFW on their PSP use it to make a Softmod Pandora. A lot easier than hardmodding one.
