psp phat sony firmware 4 - noob question

got a psp and connected to the net and like a dumbass got upgraded to sony version 4...................does this screw me for custom firmware installation?

can i install an earlier custom fw and then go for the 4.01 custom?

With OFW you can't downgrade but you can use pandora.

all ofw can be hacked to cfw, does not mater what ofw version, atleasts not yet
