Default MMS problem

Hi I've been preparing to downgrade my psp using the pandoraq battery method. I made a MMS and put it into my psp for safe keeping. Forgetting about this afew days later I turned my psp on to find an initial setup. I'm not ready to downgrade my psp yet as I have not got a pandora battery, should I follow the initial setup and configure time and date? will this harm or brick my psp? please help. I was considering just waiting untill I get the battery and then just downgrading and so skiping this setup. I understand you do a setup after the downgrade however I was unsure to do one before this.

Default MMS problem

MMS won't work without the batt.,What would probably happen is you will get an error(the game could not be started) But thats not eched in stone, for I have never tried it.

Not a problem, either ways it's no harm to psp.
